Police in Bretagne, France have arrested a 53-year-old man suspected of the thefts of 170 garden gnomes. However, it is proving difficult to return the gnomes to their real owners, as the thief cunningly painted them different colors, making identification tricky.
Although it appears that the nefarious Garden Gnome Liberation Front is usually responsible in France for stealing dozens of friendly gnomes from their homes (who knew?) this thief was acting on his own, keeping the gnomes in his 215 square foot yard.
Let the gnome madness stop...............
