The sun is shining today in Wichita - even though there is a Kansas wind the day is bright and warm. Miguel managed his chemo quite well yesterday, so today we drove up to visit his former hometown so he could visit his daughter's grave. The fields are turning green and it really feels like springtime. This picture doesn't show the blueness of the sky, the smell of the new growth or the warmth radiating from the ground - but it does show the flatness of Kansas and the green green fields.......
On the way home we stopped at Cracker Barrel - none of us had ever been there before. On roadtrips we have passed many many Cracker Barrels, but we have never stopped in...... we came home with lots and lots of food - enough for dinner tonight......... Enjoy the weekend everyone.........

Happy Easter and Purim. Hope that you are enjoying your wonderful meal with beets and all the other good things that you are preparing. I can picture you enjoying the meal and being together.
We are off to the Danforth to enjoy a meal;a traditon that we started many years ago. The tradition also includes Greek Easter bread which I managed to get yesterday. Plannng to get more in a couple weeks.

So happy that yesterday went so well. Your picture of Kansas leaves me feeling envious of such green abundance when all we still see is snow and more snow outside. We had turkey and watched the first season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I don't know if it is holiday appropriate but they made us laugh a lot. Great, restful family day. Hope all is going well in the family nest in Wichita.
