Now, there is a reason for celebration - Cupcake Week at Martha Stewart. Today's cupcake, piled high with fluffy frosting and fresh coconut - we are told this is Martha's favourite.
I used to make cupcakes - really I did. For the kids' birthday parties - mine were not as elegant as Martha's (whose ever could be, really?) but I enjoyed decorating the little festive bright cakes. Now cupcakes are grownup treats - Martha's website has listings for her favourite specialty cupcake stores throughout America. If you look here, you can see some designer cupcakes.
