Winning isn't everything my dear child..........

You know when you are a parent and you tell your kid that winning isn't everything - that playing the game and being part of a team is the most important thing? You know the feeling when you hope your child won't be too "scarred" by the harsh lessons of life? You know how it feels to want your kid to be successful and be a great player?

Well, pity this poor highschool baseball team in Japan. Before the end of the second inning, the score was 66-0. The pitcher threw over 250 pitches, allowing 26 runs in the first inning and 40 in the second inning before his coach asked for mercy. The coach of the losing team realized that the poor pitcher could be injured if he threw any more balls. I can imagine how the poor kid felt, can't you?
