Robert Kennedy - About Stealing Loved Ones.....

Hard to believe that 40 years have passed since the death of Robert Kennedy. I remember what a terrible summer that was - so many bewildering and upsetting deaths happening. I lived in Toronto, but the violence seemed so close.

One of the lines I loved the most in the Kite Runner was that the worst crime of all is theft - that when someone murders they steal a father, a son, a relative, a friend from someone else. I thought that these memories written by the children of Robert Kennedy in the NYTimes illustrate just how completely Robert Kennedy was stolen from his family and from the rest of the world.
