Just when you thought we had had enough snow for Vancouver, more arrived last night and today. We have had snow on the ground now for over a week - and it looks like there is at least a foot of snow on the ground. Luckily my kidlet boy was able to arrive safely from Toronto yesterday (leaving just after their latest storm, arriving here before our latest storm). Today my kidlet daughter's boyfriend arrived from NYC (with only about a 5 hour delay due to NYC's latest storm and our latest storm)....
We watched the snow fall for hours today. Our plans were to leave for Whistler today - but nope, the roads were not navigable or safe. Luckily I have nothing left to do for Christmas - a no-present Christmas is a good thing, no? So a glorious mid-afternoon nap was THE most perfect present of all.......

i wish that wichita would have some snow. its freeezing though.. not fun if it has no perks.
the city is crowded with all the last-minute shoppers, including myself. its a battleground at the mall , and i'm afraid that i am going to have to soon go there.
