Bravo America.....

Last year when I visited the Dwight Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene, Kansas, I bought a mug that has photos of all 43 Presidents. Today, thanks to a dignified, hardworking and energetic campaign of Obama, he will be added to future mugs as the 44th President...... Someone has made this photo that shows what photos of the Presidents will now look like:



My children, (one from Shanghai and one from Toronto) through a perfect alignment of the constellations were both in New York City with their father - they loved the excitement of the city as it became clear that Obama had won. Miguel's children and grandchildren, mostly in Kansas, called in throughout the day to report on their voting experiences and their hopes for an Obama victory. Miguel's grandson, working for Obama in northern Michigan was elated to see his hard work rewarded with a Michigan win.

It was a joyful night at our house. We watched the results with friends and by the time Obama had finished his acceptance speech, we were all weepy.....every one.....

I know it will be a night that defines us all.....a night we will all remember. Good for you America......bravo......
