And the taste test results? Nice spices, currants and candied fruit......not mass produced.....BINGO......Yay Panera's.........
Quidnunc - from the Latin "what now?" The term also now may refer to a person who seeks to know all the latest news or gossip. This journal discusses the arts, the culture, the interactions, the travels, the journeys and the thoughts of someone constantly asking "quidnunc".

Oh, we love Panera's. Discovered it in Watertown, New York last fall. Good food, much better than a fast food place. Panera's is going to open in the GTA area soon.
Glad that you finally got your hot cross buns.
Nora

Good morning all and Happy Purim, Happy Spring and Happy Good Friday!
I just ate the best Hot Cross Bun (albeit without the cross) bought by my mind-reading daughter at Harbord bakery! Actually, I had just picked her up from the subway and we were going to go to Pusateri's to try and buy some, when she pulled a paper bag out of her knapsack with a treat for me. You guessed it! Hot Cross buns from Nora's suggested bakery. What I love about this story is that she had not read Krista's blog in a while, but knew that Hot Cross bun thoughts were in the air and so journeyed down to Harbord, hoping to find some for us for this morning. Thanks Krista for creating so much interest and fun for us. I will be thinking of all of you each time I have one -- Krista, Josephine, Miquel,Nora, Linda and Emily.
