Pass the Chocolate Please........

MSNBC has a report on the most expensive desserts in the world. It seems that one can buy Strawberries Arnaud at the 90-year old Arnaud’s restaurant in New Orleans French Quarter garnished with a one-of-a-kind 4.7-carat pink diamond ring, accompanied by white-gloved waiters pouring rare port from a $24,850 Charles X crystal cave liqueur set in the presence of a jazz ensemble. All for $1.4 million. If you ask me, that would buy a LOT of nice chocolate truffles – so I'' just skip the diamond ring. If you don’t care for jewels with your dessert try the truffle at Knipschildt Chocolatier’s for $250 truffle or a $50 dollop of mousse at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. Pictured above is a modest dessert that costs only $640.
