I have had a number of emails about my blog dealing with Dan Hill and David Gilmour and their heartbreaking accounts of raising their teenage children. Just when you thought you had heard it all, this article in the NYTimes discusses two new books: one written by a father and one by his son about the harrowing and destructive teenage years of the son. The son’s book is a first-person account of his decade long drug addiction and the father has also written a book, the same story seen through the father’s eyes.
